Summer is here…well technically it arrives on the 21st, but the weather is warm and the sun is shining so we’re starting early.  Summer is a time when people start thinking about and planning some vacation time. Camping is a popular summer past time which many nature enthusiasts enjoy.  I love nature as much as the next guy or girl but I definitely could use some modern comforts while enjoying nature.  My husband is trying to plan a camping trip which would involve a portage too far away from civilization to camp with basic necessities.  I am desperately trying to change his mind and convince him of the benefits of “glamping”! What is glamping you may ask, as this term is new to many?  Well, glamping is what you call glamorous camping!  To me it looks like a happy compromise where we will still be camping, just in a more luxurious way.  Win-win no?  Well whether I can convince him or not, glamping is something I will definitely try in the near future!  For a list of popular glamping destinations across Canada check out glampinghub.com

Each luxurious tent has a private bathroom with a beautiful shower and flush toilet. There is hot/cold water for all seasons depending on the weather. The tents have beautiful hardwood floors and sliding glass doors that leads to private patios. The electric blankets provided for the guests are very comfortable and easy to use. Each unit has a mini fridge and electrical outlets. It is a very kid-friendly site! Free parking is provided for all guests.
