There’s lots of talk going on these days of where is going to be next hot spot in Toronto. Many industry professionals are saying it will be East of the downtown core with hot areas like the St Lawrence market as well as an already happening little area called the Distillery and even further east of that. I tend to agree with this assessment and see this area as not only booming but being a first choice location for many condo dwellers. It’s convenient to the financial core and the Gardiner and Don valley hwys as well as being cool areas to live in. Not only do you get the downtown vibe here but you also get the home neighborhood feeling which can be hard to come by that close to the city core. A good pick in terms of condo projects would be Posthose and King Plus condos. Another much talked about area is the Islington & Queensway area which is west of downtown Toronto in Etobicoke, I’ve got a fondness of this area also as you have access once again to highways, TTC transit and nearby subways. Its also very close to downtown Toronto and equally close to the Pearson international airport. Its a up and coming area in terms of condo development so its a great chance to get in early and see your surroundings bloom. A new project to look out for in this area is IQ condos, sure to be a good value choice. Other notable areas in the city are St clair and Yonge and Davisville, I didn’t mention them earlier as I can’t say they are up and coming, to me they have already long arrived. I did want to mention them though as they are great areas to consider when thinking of a move or investing in Toronto and with Imperial Plaza and Myc condos offering good selection, they are worth checking out. Now if you want to step out even farther away from the city and get a little bit more fresh crisp air that comes when going North, I suggest you take a look at Markham, which is making a name for itself with the latest in community condo development, Uptown condos is a project backing onto the majestic rouge river and 68 Main street condos is situated in the quaint Main st part of Markham which offers surprisingly to some a great city feel.
