In an eye-opening deal, the Four Seasons Penthouse suite sold for a whopping $28 million in recent days, but due to a non-disclosure, we wont know who the lucky (unlucky?) purchaser is. But keep in mid, as ridiculously expensive as this sale may sound at about $3000/sq.ft, it’s still cheap compared to some other major cities such as New York or London. Apples and Oranges? Maybe, but as we know the purchaser of the Four Seasons Penthouse was from outside the country, reminding us that outside interest in our new Toronto condos continues to grow. To those making comparisons of where the money could have been better spent, such as on 60 regular condos, or a multi-storey office building, let’s not forget the golden rule of supply and demand. This is a one-of-a-kind suite, and somebody obviously wanted to own it pretty badly…
