There was a story posted in the NY Magazine about a 17 year old day trader who made 72 million dollars trading on his lunch break from school. First thought was “how is this possible“? Well, it seems it was not possible as it turns out this story was a hoax. This young lad seems to have fabricated the whole thing. Now this seventeen year old may not be the greatest trader of all time but he did fool a New York Magazine reporter which we’re guessing is no small feat. Too bad it didn’t occur on April Fools Day. The story was hard to swallow from the beginning as anyone who has traded the markets knows that it is not an easy thing, and you often end up losing unless you are highly trained and skilled. This is why many who have been burned by the stock market turn to safer investments and ones which they have more of a say in, such as Real Estate. We can’t stress enough how Real Estate is tangible and comes with lots of options for investors , such as buying and selling for profit. In addition, if you think the time is not right to sell at the best possible price, you can rent out your property and receive monthly income.
