As the colder seasons approach I can’t help but miss the warm feeling of a high quality plush carpet at my feet. Now I agree with most of you who think you can’t go wrong with wood flooring. It does look great and in terms of resale it does help, but my feet still long for the comfort of carpet. I can hear you shouting “go invest in some slippers why don’t you!”…but slippers somehow end up like socks for me and I always manage to lose one of them or more often then not they are at the wrong place at the wrong time ie by the couch when they should be by my bed or vice versa. So my feet would like to put out a request to the design gurus out there, and that is to bring carpet back in fashion! As a side note, how easy is it to spot dust on wood floors, another plus for carpet is you can go longer without people noticing that you are not known for your cleaning skills! Another plus is strictly for the mothers of toddlers, how much more relaxed would we be if a plush carpet was there to cushion all those falls?!
