When it comes to applying for a rental apartment it is good to be prepared.
Landlords are typically looking for a good credit report, employment letter
and references. A rental unit in a high demand area can go fast so
having these things on hand can give you the edge in moving quickly. Also
when filling out a rental application or a request to view a rental condo,
good grammar and etiquette can go a long way in making a professional first
impression. Now don’t get us wrong, we live in this day and age where
texting is common place and abbreviations seem to be the way to go in this
fast paced world, but taking the time to write “you” instead of “u” or
“tomorrow” instead of “2mrw” might make you appear like a better rental
candidate then the next guy. Let’s also not forget that manners are still
important i.e. “I would like to view your condo please” sure sounds better
than “I wanna see ur place”.. Just a little food for thought for you to
consider on your rental unit quest.
