Sure, if you buy a condo in downtown Toronto you may end up living in a location so convenient that it has a perfect 100 walk score. However, what if you don’t want to live downtown? What if you would like to live close to the city but still be a little out of the hustle and bustle. We find that condo developments that give residents easy access to highways, transit and a mall within walking distance are becoming increasingly popular. The Sherway Gardens condos comes to mind when trying to meet this criteria for those who would like to live west of the city in Etobicoke. Any condos by Scarborough Town Centre come to mind if you would like to be East of the city. North of the city there is Soul condos which is having it’s VIP launch this week. Soul condos will be located across from Fairview Mall and have direct access to highways 404, DVP and 401 along with the subway on the corner.
